The Hollywood Foreign Press Association Donates $100,000 to Myanmar Cyclone Relief Effort
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has donated $100,000 to Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) for their relief effort underway in Myanmar (Burma), it was announced today by Jorge Camara, President.

COVERING THE ENTERTAINMENT CAPITAL FOR 65 YEARS
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s annual Golden Globe Awards have enabled the non-profit organization to donate more than $7.7 million in the past thirteen years to entertainment-related charities, as well as funding scholarships and other programs for future film and television professionals. In the year 2007 the donation was more than 1.2 million dollars, the largest tally ever distributed in the organization's history.
